Precision Bridge selected by Global Systems Integrator for two strategic Service Management migration projects

A Global Systems Integrator recently selected Precision Bridge to address their requirements for two separate migration projects. The first project involved transitioning ITSM application data from a heavily customized ServiceNow Instance to a Greenfield instance for one of their customers, while the second project involved the migration of Service Catalog and related data from their BMC Remedy platform to ServiceNow for multiple customers.

The integrator had stringent timelines and a pressing need to ensure the swift and reliable deployment of their target systems without relying extensively on manual resources.

Challenges Faced:

  1. Time Constraints: The first project, scheduled to be completed within two months in Q4 2023, demanded a rapid migration of selected data from various IT Service Management applications to the new ServiceNow instance.

  2. Scale and Complexity: The second project, slated for 6-8 months, was a sizable undertaking, involving the migration of a multitude of complex service catalog records, each laden with associated variables and entitlements.

Precision Bridge emerged as the preferred solution due to its ability to address the unique challenges of each migration project efficiently. The selection was driven by the urgent need for robust and reliable solutions to meet tight deadlines.

By utilising Precision Bridge, the integrator successfully facilitated the seamless migration of the heavily customized ServiceNow instance to a Greenfield instance within the stringent two-month timeframe. Simultaneously, it paved the way for the migration of multiple customers from their BMC Remedy platform to ServiceNow, a more extensive and complex project that was set to unfold over the following 6-8 months. The pre-built templates provided by Precision Bridge not only accelerated the deployment but also ensured reliability and reduced the risks associated with migrating intricate data sets.

Buoyed by the success of these migration projects, the Global Systems Integrator plans to continue leveraging Precision Bridge for future migration endeavours. The proven track record of significant cost and time savings, coupled with the robust performance in meeting tight deadlines, positions Precision Bridge as a strategic asset for the integrator's ongoing and upcoming migration initiatives.

Mark Herring, CEO of Precision Bridge commented: “I am delighted that this prestigious systems integrator has selected Precision Bridge for these projects and I wish them every success in completing their objectives on time using our technology. I expect these to be first of many projects as we continue to value for money and 100% track record of successful delivery”.
