Upcoming Project: Precision Bridge Selected for Streamlining ITSM Data Migration for a Leading UK Media Company

A leading media company based in the UK recently embarked on a comprehensive migration project aimed at consolidating their ITSM data from various legacy platforms, including BMC Remedy, Zendesk, Jira, and another existing ServiceNow instance. The initiative is part of a broader project orchestrated by a global systems integrator to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of the company's IT operations.

The primary objective of the project is to migrate critical ITSM data to a new ServiceNow platform, laying the foundation for improved SLA reporting, knowledge management, and facilitating the generation of meaningful AI content. The migration will encompass a range of ITSM applications including the option to migrate custom applications as well as attachments, journal entries and other related tables as needed.

Precision Bridge emerged as the preferred migration tool for this project due to its track record of success in handling similar projects and its ability to minimize risks and optimize migration schedules. With over 8 years of successful results across more than 100 migration projects, Precision Bridge offers a robust and reliable solution.

By leveraging Precision Bridge, the media company will be able to streamline the migration process and mitigate risks associated with manual data migration. The tool's efficiency allows for the seamless transfer of ITSM data from diverse legacy platforms to the new ServiceNow instance, supporting the company's objectives related to SLA reporting, knowledge management, and AI content generation.

The migration project is set to unfold in stages over the coming months, allowing the media company to adapt to changes gradually and ensure a smooth transition to the new ServiceNow platform. With Precision Bridge at the helm, the company looks forward to realizing the benefits of a consolidated and optimized ITSM data environment that aligns with their strategic objectives.

Mark Herring, CEO of Precision Bridge, expressed his satisfaction, stating, ‘‘I am delighted that Precision Bridge was selected for this project. It is the second media company to select Precision Bridge in recent months, one in the US and one in the UK. Both organisations have similar objectives: to migrate to a greenfield ServiceNow instance while consolidating application data from their legacy platforms. Both organisations had large amounts of data to migrate and needed a reliable and robust solution that could be delivered quickly and effectively without the need for extensive consultancy. This adds to the growing list of enterprise customers choosing Precision Bridge to address their migration requirements and we are proud of the track record of 100% success in delivering these projects on time and within budget through our esteemed partner network.’’
