ANB Technologies Completes Salesforce to Jira Service Management Migration Leveraging Precision Bridge Solution

ANB Technologies was engaged to migrate an enterprise customer's external customer support system from Salesforce into Jira Service Management (JSM). The project required the transfer of all foundational customer data, including product subscriptions and entitlements, together with 700,000+ historical tickets and cases, and approximately 1,000 knowledge articles migrated into Confluence. To manage the scale and complexity of the migration, ANB Technologies selected the Precision Bridge Data Migration Automation Solution.

Migration Requirements

  • Migrating high volumes of case and ticket data with full fidelity, including descriptions, comments, and attachments

  • Transferring foundational customer data - including product subscriptions and entitlements - from Salesforce into JSM's data model

  • Executing a phased migration across approximately 100 customers, requiring consistent accuracy at each stage

  • Accommodating evolving requirements mid-project, necessitating configuration agility and responsive product enhancements.

As requirements evolved throughout the project, Precision Bridge provided support to assist with  specific data handling requirements, keeping the migration on track throughout its three-month phased delivery. ANB noted that a manual approach was not a realistic alternative given the requirements to handle attachment migration, making automation an absolute requirement for a project of this scale.
