Customer Selection Story: Capgemini

A Leading Energy provider synchronizes Service Management CMDB data using Precision Bridge.

We are delighted to announce the completion of another important project with one of our leading partners, Capgemini. Capgemini leveraged Precision Bridge to implement a solution to synchronize CMDB data between two ServiceNow systems for one of their customers, a leading energy provider. Over 390 tables and related data are now being continuously synchronized between the two ServiceNow instances using Precision Bridge Data Synchronization.

Apple has announced "Apple Intelligence" for iPhones, iPads and Mac which will be tightly integrated with their ecosystem to leverage the power of generative AI whilst maintaining high levels of privacy for Apple users.

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO says: "Our unique approach combines generative AI with a user’s personal context to deliver truly helpful intelligence. And it can access that information in a completely private and secure way to help users do the things that matter most to them. This is AI as only Apple can deliver it, and we can’t wait for users to experience what it can do."

Planning for Data Migration

Here we have the first problem. Sometimes data migration is not considered until all the other project planning is done and at the end of the planning it is highlighted that data will need to be migrated for reasons such as to ensure retention of customer history, existing knowledge, allowing for historical and trend reporting and maintaining asset data.

TIP 1: Ensure to include the analysis of which data needs to be migrated at the start of the migration planning exercise during the initial workshops.
