Tech Talk: Gen AI

GPT-4o represents a significant advancement in natural human-computer interaction, capable of processing inputs that include text, audio, images, and video, and generating outputs in the form of text, audio, and images. Sam Altman (CEO of ChatGPT) states that using GPT-4o, it is the "First time it felt like being in a science fiction movie".

Precision Bridge Latest Release

Just a reminder about the latest Precision Bridge Release 8.0, which was released in March 2024 and includes the following enhancements:

  • Support for Migration of ITSM and CMDB data from BMC Remedy into Jira Service Management.

  • Performance Improvements to the deletion of records when using Precision Bridge to archive ServiceNow data.

  • Ability to write Precision Bridge migration reports to a ServiceNow instance

  • Ability to write field mapping information in a Precision Bridge project to a reporting database.

  • Licencing changes. For subscription licences, individual source and target connections are now licenced. For trial licences there is no restriction on use.

We will shortly be announcing Release 8.1, so stay tuned for new details.
