GPT-4 changed the game, GPT-Next might rewrite the rulebook, but are we prepared for AI systems that are 100 times more powerful than today's models?

The CEO of OpenAI Japan has just teased its latest innovation—GPT-Next, an AI model that will be 100 times more powerful than GPT-4, with a release expected by the end of 2024.

At the KDDI Summit in Tokyo, OpenAI Japan's CEO, Tadao Nagasaki, revealed that GPT-Next would offer a 100x boost in computational power while using similar resources, thanks to architectural advancements. Final Thoughts

We round off this Newsletter with the second extract from our ITSM Migration Hints and Tips Guide - free when you register for a Data Migration Webinar.

Analysis of Data Migration Requirements:

But it sounds straightforward enough, right? Just export the data from our previous system and import it into the next, no problem. However, this is where significant issues can start especially for those that actually have to carry out the migration project and also those responsible for managing and delivering the project because it is rarely this simple. One of the key questions is what data should we carry over. A migration can be an opportunity to clean house and archive data that is no longer valuable but unless this has been carefully considered you can get an all or nothing approach. You may also take the opportunity to migrate data from other systems at the same time.

TIP 2: Ensure that the existing data is appraised in terms of why it should be migrated or archived.
